Topic: Service Stopped Abruptly Yesterday

I was having call clarity issues yesterday so I rebooted the phone adapter (which I do about once daily) and now it is not reconnecting and I cannot get a dial tone.

ISP is Business Class Comcast
Phone adapter: Linksys, Cisco Systems VOIP Phone Adapter with Router SPA2102 which is connected directly to...
Comcast Cable Router is SMC Networks IP Gateway Router

This setup has been working successfully for about 2 years.

After rebooting, the SPA2102 has a solid green power light, a flashing green internet light indicating connectivity, but the phone 1 light (which is usually solid green) is not on at all which I believe indicates no connection to the VOIP server. Therefore I also do not have a dial tone at all. I have rebooted all components in sequence multiple times but am not able to get a connection or a dial tone.

Is there anything you can tell from your end? Anything else to try? Please advise... I work from home, could use the phone ASAP.
Thanks.

Re: Service Stopped Abruptly Yesterday

Please close this issue, we figured it out on our end. We have a new Active Directory machine which was also publishing itself as a DHCP server which caused the issue. Sorry for the post...
