Topic: Phone Number Verification Failed
Since voip.com can't fix the problem wherein I can't call 586-282-XXXX (and others) phone numbers, I tried to move my service to Comcast. However, when Comcast verified my phone number (comcast was supposed to have contacted voip), my phone number (248-778-1055) does not match the Rate(?) Center number. Therefore, Comcast cannot transfer my existing phone number. Why is 248-778-1055 phone number invalid and what can be done to correct it? Thanks.
