Topic: Trouble with voip.com two accounts

I am having trouble with 2 voip.com accounts.  This has to do with a PBX, but the problem exists when using softphones as well.  The trouble is when I call from another voip.com account to a particular viop.com account it will go through, but making the call from a non-voip.com account to the particular voip.com account there is a busy signal every time.

A little background... I have setup voip.com on several systems and have had no problems making and recieving calls.  The system that uses these two accounts also has four other voip.com accounts that are working well.  The difference however, is that the other four had numbers ported over to them, and the two, non-working, did not receive ported numbers.

What I have tried...
I have matched the settings for all six accounts except for the user names and passwords.  These two accounts will not receive a call from a cell phone.

Disabled the account on the PBX and tried using a softphone.  The communicator from voip.com works, but when using the sip account settings in the online account with x-lite, the phone will time out with error 408.

The two accounts are 196864 and 196866

Please advise on anything that will help.

Re: Trouble with voip.com two accounts

These accounts are still not accepting incoming calls from cell phones, please look into this problem.  The longer you wait to respond, the more frustrated I get with Voip.com and it's services.  I have used voip.com and refered the services to other people, but that will quickly stop if it cannot work because of a setting that you have control over. I have waited several days for a response.  Other companies would have spoken to me over the phone and it would have gotten resolved.  But you are making all of your valuable customers wait around for no one to respond to a forum about critical concerns with your services.  Thanks for your fantastic no customer service!!

Re: Trouble with voip.com two accounts

Hi
If you feel that this is a problem that is related to voip.com and not on your end (as you indicate) you should try the other forums. This forum is "(mostly) Customer based support for third party ATAs and software." and the "mostly" means that at best you have a 50% chance that it would be seen by a admin.
Good luck to ya.

If I look everywhere I know I will find what I am looking for eventualy. If we look as a team we will find it much sooner.
