Topic: How do I change to softphone only?
Hello, I have been a customer of your great service for over a year (maybe even two) and for reasons beyond my control I cannot pay for my phone service for this month. However I WOULD be able to pay for a softphone account ($14.99 a month) until I can get back on my feet and get the VoIP.com regular phone service later on (in a month or so). The account the auto draft was tied to has been closed and I want to keep some kind of service with you guys, I would like to possible keep my phone number as well also. Tomorrow I am supposed to be billed 27.00 like normal but it will not go through. I dont want any chargebacks or anything so is there any way to convert my account over to a softphone only account tonight and I pay the 15 dollars or whatever it is to set it up? I have the VoIP device (Granstream) still and would not have any problems sending it back. I would like to keep it though so I will already have it when I get my account converted back over to the normal phone service later on. Please let me know and thanks for giving me such great service!
