Before subscribing to the voip service, I talked to a few sales reps a number of times to see if the auto attendant had a feature allowing to put callers on hold and play the ‘all operators are busy’ message if all the lines are busy at the time of a call and then put the call through once an operator is available. I was told that this feature is available.

After I opened an account, it turned out that the feature was not all that readily available after all. It turned out it needed to be custom-set by the voip engineers. This kind of support was only available through the forum I was told. The problem is that I have been trying to get some kind of assistance on this forum for a couple of months now. With no success. Whenever I call the support center, I am told to post the request on the forum. When I post on the forum, my messages are ignored or moved without being answered.

After weeks and weeks of trying to get engineers program the auto attendant the way we need it to work (which was promised to me as a default feature in the first place), I called the voip sales reps again saying that I want to open a new account and asking the very same question: ‘Does your auto attendant allow putting callers on hold while a ‘busy’ message is being played?’ I was once again assured that the feature was available by default. When pointing out to the sales rep that it was unfortunately not the case, I was told that once I open another account, the engineers will take care of everything. To my question as to why I couldn’t get any kind of response to the service requests, I was repeatedly told to just open a new account.

My question is: do your sales promises have anything to do with what you are actually delivering?
